Trichology is the scientific study of hair and scalp health. It focuses on diagnosing and treating conditions like hair shedding, hair loss, scalp issues, and hair shaft problems.
CERTIFIED TRICHOLOGISTS
Certified trichologists train in the science of hair, scalp disorders, and diagnostic techniques. They identify underlying issues (hormonal, nutritional, genetic, etc) rather than just treating symptoms. This includes the use of microscopes, trichoscopes, urinalysis, blood test analysis to pinpoint the underlying condition. TSSA members adhere to strict standards: no false promises or miracle cures - only proven, science-backed solutions.
